About Us

Fossil fuels are becoming less economically viable and their byproducts continue to contribute to harmful environmental effects in our world today. We, as engineers, must develop sustainable energy sources to free our nation from its economic dependance on fossil fuels as well as its pollutant byproducts. The Electric Vehicle Engineering Club (EVEC) formed to learn about, promote, and work towards developing technologies that will substain an alternative energy future.

Established in Spring of 2007, EVEC has been formed and spearheaded by students for students to learn more about this developing field of energy. In the short time since EVEC's inception, we have worked together closely with many different College of Engineering departments to garner the support that this multi-disciplinary technology needs
